Fire Tube Boilers
The Tru-Steam Fire-Tube Boiler is a package steam generating system, factory assembled and tested. It consists of boiler pressure vessel, combustion and water feeding equipment and controls, all coordinated to form an integrated design unsurpassed for safe, quiet and dependable steam generation.
Today’s Fire Tube Boilers are available in a wide variety of designs. The basic combustion gas flow pattern for all designs has the actual combustion occurring in the furnace with hot gases passing through the full-length banks of fire tubes. These boilers are available in single pass, 2 pass and 3 pass patterns. All patterns are available in Dry-Back and Wet-Back designs.
- Fire Tube Boilers are High Efficiency
- Easy to Operation
- Fuel types: Gas, LPG, Diesel, Heavy Oil
Package Boiler
Fuel burning and combustion control equipment have been continuously improved. A majority of the packaged Fire tube Boilers use forced draft fans. An increasing number of the units are equipped with modulating or other control systems to match the firing rate to load demand as nearly as possible.
The Fire Tube Boilers are equipped with state of the art integrated boiler management system which controls every facet of the boilers operation and coordinates all the safety requirements needed for fully automatic combustion, steam pressure control, and top quality water level security. They can accept a wide variety of packaged burners, which can be supplied in various versions to suit specific site operating conditions or customer requirements. Combustion equipment firing modes are available for on/off, high/low or full modulation operation, the combustion system is also available for alternate or multiple fuels firing such as light oil, heavy oil and gas.
Fire Tube Boiler Technology
In the past few years, improvements in construction have resulted in more compact and less costly packages. Radiation heat losses have been reduced to a minimum by improved shell design and insulation.

Flame safeguard control systems are generally of the programming type and are frequently microprocessor based. Such systems may include HMI displays for self-diagnosis of system problems. Flame detectors have been improved and are matched to the unit and fuels.
As the various unit components complement one another, the Tru-Steam assemblies are quite compact and can be shipped complete with several auxiliary components.
