Location: NSW
Boiler System: ECS Vertical Watertube
Output: 2 x VWT50
Most recent project completed for one of our long-term clients in regional NSW. They entrusted us to replace their old and retired d-type watertube boiler with a modern, efficient vertical boiler steam system. We began by conducting a comprehensive feasibility study, including detailed load calculations, to determine the required steam load for their operations.
After careful consideration, we decided on a turnkey solution utilising two 50VWT Vertical Watertube Boilers configured in a lead-lag system. Package included Modulating Riello Burners, TDS Blowdown, Dual Feedwater Pumps, Feedtank Level Monitoring, Clock Start Function.
This system was designed with 4 main goals in mind…
Enhanced Efficiency: By utilising two smaller boilers instead of one large unit, we can optimize fuel usage and reduce energy waste.
Improved Reliability: The lead-lag system ensures that if one boiler requires maintenance or encounters an issue, the other can continue to operate, minimizing downtime.
Scalability: This configuration allows for better load management and the ability to easily scale operations up or down based on demand.
Cost Savings: Increased efficiency and reduced downtime translate to lower operational costs over time.
At TBS, we are committed to providing tailored solutions that meet our clients’ specific needs, and this project is a testament to our dedication to innovation and excellence in steam system design and implementation.
