The client was operating with an aging steam boiler that had developed multiple component failures and was no longer meeting performance requirements. The limitations of the old unit were also restricting the client’s ability to commission essential on-site components, affecting operational efficiency.

TBS supplied and installed a new, Australian-made high-pressure vertical steam boiler to replace the outdated unit. The new system was specifically selected for its reliability and capability to operate at higher pressures, enabling the client to expand the range of components that could be commissioned on-site.

To support safe and efficient operation, the boiler was delivered with integrated walkways for improved accessibility during maintenance. A fully lagged and cladded feedwater tank was also provided, mounted on a purpose-built stand and fitted with steam injection to improve thermal efficiency and system performance.

The installation of the new high-pressure boiler significantly enhanced the client’s site capabilities. With improved pressure capacity and operational efficiency, the client now benefits from greater flexibility in commissioning processes. The upgraded system also offers long-term reliability and ease of maintenance, positioning the client for continued productivity and growth.
