Hot water: it’s a simple luxury we all take for granted, until we turn the taps on and find ourselves without it. Reliable hot water is a cornerstone of many aspects of our modern everyday lives, from our washing, to our cleaning, to our morning showers. It’s now such an ingrained part of our lifestyles that we barely notice our usage anymore and think of hot water on demand as the norm. This hasn’t always been the case, but the wonders of modern technology have changed our expectations and habits around our hot water consumption on a daily basis.
However, many of us have no idea what it actually takes for that hot water to be piped into our homes and workplaces. The installation of water heating systems is an important process that requires a professional to evaluate each space on a case-by-case basis. Given the combination of water, electricity and fuel sources, this is a job that is best left to the professionals who can provide a guarantee that extends across the life of the water heating burner, should any issues arise post-installation.
TBS is aware of how integral a role hot water plays in both residential and commercial/industrial environments. Through the delivery of reliable and high-quality water heating burners, our team is able to ensure your water heating needs are met, no matter the size of the task.
There are two main types of tank-type water heating burners available on the market: electric and fuel-fired. Fuel-fired water hearing burners run on either gas or oil, with vent pipes that take away exhaust gases through the output process. Electric water heating burns receive their power through a cable supply that’s connected to an electric panel.
Aside from tank-type water heating burners, there are also fuel-fired water heaters. In this scenario, gas-fired heaters receive gas via a control valve and thermostat switch. The burner then ignites the gas and throws a flame under the tank, with exhaust gases being vented through either a hollow core in the middle of the talk or through the tank’s sides.
